Who's to blame

Jumping over to Genesis…

At 75, Sarai had had enough of Abram’s telling her to be patient,

his insisting that he had faith that God was going to come through with a son.

“Enuff of that!,” Sarah thought.

And she told Abe to go take a nap with Hagar.

Yet, that did not end well.

Yeah, the maidservant got p.g.

but Sarai did not like the girl’s more-pregnant-than-though attitude.

When Sarai has had just-about-enuff, she slaps old Abe with the blame:

“My wrong be upon you.”

Well, I got to admit at least she admitted she was wrong,

that’s a start.

But that doesn't mean she is taking the blame for it.

Furthermore, she tells her father-of-the-faith husband,

“The Lord judge between you and me.”

Oh Sarai, how dumb!

Of course God is going to side with Abram.

You’re the one who blew it, get with the game plan lady.”

But it didn’t really seem to go like that…

Maybe it has to do with the man being the head of the home?

You think?
