As we saw yesterday (1 Peter 4.1), our way of thinking can be a weapon of warfare for us.

 

So it follows, logically, that God gives us guidelines concerning about what to be thinking:

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable— if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think about such things.

Philippians 4.8  NIV 

 

And, to top it off, we have the added advantage of having the mind of Jesus (1 Corinthians 2.16).
