New agey?

For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.

The ESV’s word “energy” sounds kind of new-agey to me.

But, knowing that Paul was not really into new age baloney,

I looked it up.

 

In Greek, it seems to be “energeō.”

But what do I know?

The only Greek vocabulary I possess is “gyros.”

 

New age, old Greek, whatever…

He gives me strength.

I will serve.

 

Thy kingdom come!

Thank You, Jesus for letting me have energy so as to have a part in it.
