So, this young princess grabs her loofah (although I do suppose she had one of her damsels collect the gear),

and heads down to the river to take a quick bath, and finds a crying Hebrew baby in the bulrushes.

Just so happens a Hebrew girl is nearby.

She’s nice enough to offer the princes her services to look for lady

who happens to be plentiful of milk with no baby to feed.

Here’s the story:

When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby was crying.

She took pity on him and said, “This is one of the Hebrews' children.”

Then his sister said to Pharaoh's daughter,

“Shall I go and call you a nurse from the Hebrew women to nurse the child for you?”

And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, “Go.”

So the girl went and called the child's mother.

Ex 2.6-8

The baby’s sister runs and gets the baby’s mother and, apparently,

Princess Bulrush Bather suspects no family relation at all.

Moses’ new mom does not seem to be the sharpest thorn on the cactus.
