Please forgive me that as I read Moses’ story,

I am as interested in the non-biological family aspect,

as I am in the splitting sea and the wilderness walk.

 

[God] said, “Is there not Aaron, your brother, the Levite?

I know that he can speak well.

Behold, he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you,

he will be glad in his heart. 

Ex 4.14

 

So did Moses respond with a silent “I have a brother?”

Or had he and Aaron crossed paths as kids on the soccer field?
