“No way I can do this,” Moses frightfully told the voice in the burning bush.

He then hears these assuring words:

But I will be with you

Ex 3.12

 

Wow, what more could a man ask for?

 

 

It takes me on a fast forward to the close of Matt’s gospel:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

 

Which is quickly followed with these assuring words:

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Mt 28.20b

 

I ask for nothing more.
