Still looking at the letter to the folks in Colossae, verse 1.23, now at parts b and c

the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven

Maybe Paul was just not skilled with verb tenses,

because I just came back from India and can attest to the fact

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world

as a testimony to all nations,

and then the end will come

There is work yet to be done.
