Still looking at the letter to the folks in Colossae, verse 1.23, now at parts b and c

 

the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven

 

Maybe Paul was just not skilled with verb tenses,

because I just came back from India and can attest to the fact

that there are yet creatures who have not heard.

 

If it were not so, there would have been no need

for Mathew to have included verse 14 in his chapter 24.

 

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world

as a testimony to all nations,

and then the end will come

 

There is work yet to be done.
