Previously he told us he is a servant of the Gospel (1.23),
and now he tells us he is a servant of the church (1.24).
All with the purpose of “making the word of God fully known.”
…for the sake of his body, that is, the church,
of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God
that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known
