John won no prizes for best dressed man of the year, but I am impressed by his humility.
And his focus.
He knows who he is, he knows who he is not.
John was the older cousin, but he made it clear that Jesus, “was before me.”
He could have faked it and pretended he knew that Jesus was the messiah was all along, but he has too much integrity for that…
