A friend told me that Peter is warmer than Paul.


It's as if Peter wrapped himself warmly in the after-rooster forgiveness of Jesus, enabling him to write more warmly, and reader-friendly.


Paul, however, is acerbic in his style, and finds it necessary, rather frequently, to give us the list of his credentials.

 

I know that ruffles the feathers of most of you out there, but you know me, I am always willing to ruffle.

 

At any rate, I am perusing in 1 Peter, checking it out to see if my friend is as smart as I think he is.
