Oh good, there is no sharp knife involved.

by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ

Yet, my ego feels the pain

My fear does not want to let it happen

The everydayness of it wants to wear me down

My know-it-all head rebels

My stubbornness thinks I have an easier, and better idea

But I traveled that path for many a year, the path more traveled

Now I know better.
