Reading between the lines I see, this morning, that Jesus likes figs and grapes.

I had never paid attention to this before.

One of my problems is that I am more of a Matthew Man, than a Luke fan, and Matthew is not as specific on this issue as Dr. Luke.

Jesus mentions good fruit, and then focuses in on what He considers good:

A bad tree does not bear good fruit.

For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.

And as for being fruit, I want to make sure I am neither a dried fig, nor a raisin.
