In the six “When” stories of Mt 8 I see three that have to do with touching and not touching.

  1. A leper—very untouchable—gets touched.

  2. The captain’s servant not only did not get touched, he did not get visited. Jesus did long-distance healing. Today, we call that “virtual” healing.

  3. Mrs Pete’s Mom got touched on the hand and the fever left her.*

*I think that deserves an asterisk for what happens next:

She got up and began to serve Him.

That’s what we are supposed to do when we get touched, and saved, by Jesus. We are to get up and begin serving Him.
