Back to Psalm 73. Where did Asaph mess up? It’s right there in verse 3—I see that he saw, and that was when his walk became a see-saw.

73.3 …when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Somewhat like Peter who, while taking an early morning stroll on the lake “saw the wind boisterous”. Except Peter did not see-saw, his was a straight slide, and he started to go straight down.

I like old Job’s idea, he knew where not to put his eyes: I made a covenant with my eyes, I ain’t going to be looking at those sweet babes who cross my path.

And I am with those Greeks who spoke to Phillip: Sir we wish to see Jesus.

And now that I have seen Him, I want to never let Him out of my sight.
