…so as to.

What we saw Paul praying for two Thursdays ago, will produce fruit in the Colossians.

so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord

Col 1.10a

Here is the whole kit n kaboodle:

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you,

asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him

Col 1.9-10a

Therefore, knowing His will and taking in spiritual wisdom and understanding,

is going to shape me, it’s going to better my walk.

And that is something that really turns Jesus on, for Paul continues:

fully pleasing to him.

Yes, I aim to please.

I want to tune into God’s will

I want to consistently be on the receiving end

of spiritual wisdom,

and spiritual understanding.

Holy Spirit, deal with me.
