Paraphrasing Paul

To paraphrase Paul a bit...

When I was a young man, I thought like a young man, I walked like a young man, I was a little bit cool like a young man, so I spoke to young men and woman.

As an old man, I still get invitations to speak to teen events.

Their world has changed,

their lingo has changed,

cool has changed,

the Word of God has changed not one bit.

So, tomorrow, I fly to Monterrey, in the eastern part of Mexico, to speak at a youth event.

I find it to be a delightful challenge.

I ask you to pray for young ears that listen and the Spirit of God to take over the speaking.
