I have been teaching the kids in our school on the life of Abraham.

Never noticed, before, the string of sex stories beginning in Genesis 16.

16 – Abram and Hagar have a fling.

18 – Three fellows come down to check our rumors in Sodoma and Gomorra

19 – Lot’s neighbors want some action with the visitors

19.8 – Lot generously offers his two daughters to the crowd, to “do as they please” with them.

19.30+ – Some interesting incestual action up in the hills

20 – God gives Abimelech a nightmare telling him “You are as good as dead, Abi, because the gal you are trying to get into your bed is already married.”

21 – The out-of-wedlock son gets thrown out of the house, with his mom

Weren’t so different then, than it is for us today.
