Although my style is to jump right to the point when I write, today I will break protocol and allow myself to give a quick introduction.

Introduction

I am not talking politics here, nor conspiracy theories. Surprisingly enough, I am not even employing my usual sarcasm. I am simply musing.

Ps 46.6 sounds like global warming to me.

The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.

And to give it some context, let's look at verses two and three.

…we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.

But the psalm opens and closes assuring us of who/how/where God is:

God is our refuge.

God is our strength.

God is present with us.

He is our help in troubling times.

The God of Jacob is our fortress.
