Same subject, different letter. Paul, this time to the church at Colosse (Colossians 1.24):

Now I rejoice in my sufferings...

But this part, I don’t get…

in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his…church.

What in all of heaven or earth or hell could possibly have been lacking?
