And to whom have we returned?

For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. 1 Peter 2.25

 We have returned to Him who is our shepherd—the one who guides us, protects us, and feeds us.


And to our “overseer,” our “bishop,” our Lord—the One who is our boss.

 

Perhaps if we stopped calling Him “Lord” and began calling Him “boss,” it would help us put our hands and feet where our mouth is.
