Challenged

I have the verse that most astonishes me.

The verse that most comforts me.

The verse that makes me maddest.

But on a day to day basis, the verse that most has me shaking in my boots the most is 1 Peter 3.7.

Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered. 

The MSV says,

Marcos, get your act to together.

Veronica is to be always lovingly honored, treated gently and tenderly.

After all, you are equally sinners saved by My grace.

The bottom line, Marcos, is if you don’t cut it on this issue,

your prayers are going to go unanswered.

It’s that bottom line that challenges me.
