A superb inheritance

Previously Peter mentioned my old passions (how fun I thought they were!).

Peter told me [1 Peter 1.14] that I was doing them in ignorance.

That soothed me some.

Today, in 1.18, he adds that I inherited those things from my forefathers.

Not a real great inheritance.

But now I inherit marvelous things, and pass on this superb inheritance to my children and their children and generations further on.

A most superb inheritance indeed!
