Moses opens the book the Levitus interestingly enough.

 

Now the Lord called to Moses and spoke to him…

Lev 1.1

 

If God called to me, you can be sure I would not be talking in the third person.

I’d say, “You want to know something super cool? God called ME!”

 

But Moses, right from the opening curtain of his account, seems to know that this is something  bigger than him.

It’s not about Moses, it is about God.

 

 

I need to remember it is not about Marcos.

It is about God.

Right Right Right

In my mind’s eye I can see Moses dabbing a bit of blood on Aaron’s right ear, then his right thumb, then his right big toe, just as God told him to do (Lev 8.23). Then he followed (Lev 8.24) with Aaro
