Paul is writing to a church in Turkey, so I thought this would be a good letter to muse as we approach Thanksgiving.

Timothy is Paul’s right-hand man, probably a teen when they first met, perhaps in the year 50 or 51 A.D. This letter to the Jesus-followers of Colossae was probably written in 62 A.D>

So Tim was the youngest guy around, obviously most well-versed in all things social media,. As such, he was probably the guy clicking out the letter on the keyboard. The letter starts of with:

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother.

Paul was no fool, he knew good help was hard to find, and he had grabbed Timothy for that very reason.
