Got hit with Jesus’ 15-word question this morning.

Why do you call me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?

The MSV it has 16 words:

Marcos, why do you call me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?

I thought a lot about it.


Some of the answer is:

Laziness.

Complacency.

Fear.

Lack of trust.

Pretending.

Hypocrisy.

Comparing myself with others (rather than being like Jesus I am content to just look better than the next guy).

Where would we be without His grace?
