Check these out, verse 26, and verse 25.

I find no connection between them.


Jn 3.25

Now a discussion arose between some of John's disciples and a Jew over purification.

Jn 3.26

And they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you bore witness—look, he is baptizing, and all are going to him.”

I don’t get why that second verse follow the first. How does who all is going to Jesus have to do with some discussion about purification?


We are talking apples and orangutans.

Nevertheless, I hear John’s answer.

He’s telling me we are all in this together, we are all on the same team.


There is no competition going on.

Because any little ability or gifting we have come from God.


This is good for Marcos to remember.
