Yesterday God told us He was fed up.

Today (Jer/15.6) He is tired of giving second chances:

You have rejected me, declares the Lord; you keep going backward, so I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you—I am weary of relenting.


Side note: KJV says tired of repenting, I believe ESV’s “relenting” is more to point in our modern English.

Bottom line:

It’s not a good idea to play games with God unless you are a really good loser.
