John B got sent.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. Jn 1.6

Got sent him to testify so that “all might believe through him.”

He came as a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all might believe through him. Jn 1.7

We, too, all of us today, have been sent to be a witness of the light, that others may believe.

Aren’t you glad John obeyed?

I do, though, wonder what happened to the rest of us.
